Bravo! Vail • Mexican Ofrendas & Music
Ofrendas, or altars, are an essential part of the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico. This family-friendly workshop gives participants an opportunity to create their own ofrenda while learning about Mexican art, music, history, and culture from a Bravo! Vail scholar. Admission is free, but reservations are required.
Please bring 6 items of personal meaning to place in your shoebox altar. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled before the class begins. Beer/wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
