Get your hands messy on the pottery wheel! This adult/teen class is for any experience level, especially beginners and intermediates, interested in taking their clay sculpting and wheel techniques to a new level. We’ll demonstrate the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel as well as creating slab hand-built pieces, and you’ll have a chance to create a set of pieces in your own style. Consider creating a set of coffee mugs, cereal bowls, salad plates, etc.

$59 per class – Save 10% with our new Arts Center Memberships (membership is good for discounts on in-studio and virtual classes, camps, drop-ins & wine/beer)

Included in your class: Up to 2 pounds of clay is included with your class, and pottery tools are available for student use. The firing & clear glazing of your pottery is also included.

Optional add ons: You may purchase additional clay for $10 per pound. If you prefer to self-glaze your work, this is available to students for a half-priced drop-in fee of $8, and you can come in at your convenience after your work is fired about a week later. For students visiting from out of town, shipping is available at an additional fee.
