DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE! \nGet your hands messy on the pottery wheel! This adult/teen class is for any experience level\, especially beginners and intermediates\, interested in taking their clay sculpting and wheel techniques to a new level. We’ll demonstrate the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel as well as creating slab hand-built pieces\, and you’ll have a chance to create a set of pieces in your own style. Consider creating a set of coffee mugs\, cereal bowls\, salad plates\, etc. \n$59 per class – Save 10% with our new Arts Center Memberships (membership is good for discounts on in-studio and virtual classes\, camps\, drop-ins & wine/beer) \nIncluded in your class: Up to 2 pounds of clay is included with your class\, and pottery tools are available for student use. The firing & clear glazing of your pottery is also included. \nOptional add ons: You may purchase additional clay for $10 per pound. If you prefer to self-glaze your work\, this is available to students for a half-priced drop-in fee of $8\, and you can come in at your convenience after your work is fired about a week later. For students visiting from out of town\, shipping is available at an additional fee.

For registrations less than 48 hours in advance please inquire before signing up to make sure our staff has time to transfer your image onto your canvas. \nWant a fun and creative night out in the company of friends? We will lead you step-by-step through the evening’s project and provide all materials. Wine/beer is $6 per glass (all alcoholic beverages must be purchased through our bar; non-alcoholic options and snacks available too).
