DSLR Photography—Fundamentals Plus

Dates & Times: 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27 from 6:30-8:30pm

If you’re serious about learning DSLR photography and want to move beyond the “Automatic” mode, this class is for you!  This is not a fluff course—we focus on real photography.   In session #1 you’ll learn about your camera’s menus & settings.  In session #2 you’ll learn how to combine Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO to create compelling images.  In session #3 we cover composition—an extraordinarily informative class.  Week #4 begins with a show ‘n tell, where we will critique each other’s images before finishing with a foray into essential gear and histograms.

This class has been designed for DSLR cameras—please, no point ‘n shoot or bridge cameras.  Bring your camera & instruction manual.  The instructor will contact you by email prior to class with some pre-class instructions.
